Observation: A very large number (1 per second?) API calls were being made from a laptop until the extension was removed from chrome://extensions. Initial observation is that the o-url passed in the api call is the latest url visited on Chrome.

Such traffic has been noticed from at least Dec 20th. We don't know if this happened before Dec 13th but did not happen from Dec 13-19.

Since it is possible that someone may have installed an earlier extension or an extension that was not yet merged, any MR around this date is suspect.
